Description Mice and rats can find their way in to buildings through very small cracks, crevices and holes. And once they find a favorite path, even patching the hole may not be enough because they tend to chew through regular materials. To create a chew proof patch, use our steel fabric filler sheeting. It’s much like steel wool, but designed for patching holes and cracks to stop mice from getting in through these holes and wall cracks. Specifications: Dimensions: 10 ft long roll, 4″ wide, 1/2″ thick Material: Steel Fiber Fabric Installation: Download installation instructions in .PDF Identify the gaps and spaces where rodents can enter or where there is evidence rodents have entered. Measure the width and depth of the space using a tape measure as pictured or any other measuring device. Use sturdy, sharp scissors to cut a piece of fabric that is slightly larger than the opening (about 1½x to 2x the width of the opening is usually sufficient). Firmly place the fabric into the opening. Be sure to fill the entire opening, leaving no gaps or spaces. Using the blunt side of a screwdriver, push the material into the opening so that it is flush to, or slightly below the surface of the opening. Properly installed, the fabric will expand to form a better seal shortly after installation. Item Number SKU: 105204
