Jane: The Master Groomer
Meet Jane, the heart and soul of The Naked Hound and your guide through the world of grooming. With 17 years of salon ownership under her belt, she’s not just a groomer; she’s a grooming champion. Jane has been competing in grooming competitions for 13 years, achieving remarkable success, including ‘Best in Show,’ ‘Runner up Best in Show 2,’ ‘Best In Group’ wins, and breed-specific accolades. Her expertise extends to Asian style and Salon freestyle grooming competitions.
Jane specializes in American Cocker Spaniels and has a deep knowledge of Poodle show trims, hand stripping techniques, and show preparation, which includes drying and hair growth.
As Captain of the 2020 Groom Team Australia, she led her team to the World Grooming Championships in France, only to have their journey interrupted by the Covid-19 outbreak. Undeterred, Jane is now gearing up for the next World Grooming competition in 2024. But her influence isn’t confined to Australia; she’s a member and Captain of the Hyponic World Grooming Team and serves as a Hyponic Ambassador.
In 2023, she’s set to explore the grooming competition scene in Korea, preparing for the exciting events that lie ahead in 2024.
